Science Communication

I believe researchers have a responsibility to communicate science clearly, transparently, and accessibly. As a communication scholar, I am interested not only in studying how people engage with information, media, and technology, but also in improving how scientific knowledge is shared beyond academic spaces. Through public-facing science communication, I aim to make research on sleep, media, neuroscience, and human behavior more understandable while remaining transparent about uncertainty, limitations, and the evolving nature of scientific knowledge.

In August 2025, I launched @dr.kee.tbd as part of a broader commitment to open and accessible science communication. Through the platform, I share evidence-based research, conference experiences, and insights into the research process in ways designed to bridge academic and public audiences. I view digital platforms not simply as tools for dissemination, but as important spaces for public engagement, scientific transparency, and increasing accessibility to research. I've recently expanded my online presence to TikTok and YouTube as well. Feel free to join the #KeetoScience team by following along.
